PAINTING

Both of my parents were artists; they met each other at the Swain School of Art in New Bedford, Massachusetts. However, I never started painting until 1983 and with complete support from my family trained with various artists and attended the Art Students League of New York for a short stint. My principal materials are oil and pastel and for the quest of bridging the gap between painting and photography I use watercolor or gouache.
